We learned from BRIO that many problems with the pop-ups not displaying correctly can be resolved by clearing the BRIO Cache folder on the client computer. Below are the steps you need to take to navigate to this folder and delete it.
Computer settings
Open a windows explorer to adjust the settings so that you can also view hidden folders.
Step 1: In windows explorer choose View/Beeld , then choose Show and Hidden items . This will show hidden folders.
Navigate to the folder
Follow the steps below to navigate to the next folder and delete the specific BRIO cache folder.
C:\Users\ Username \AppData\Local\Temp\PlwCefCache
Step 1: Open a windows explorer again but this time navigate to This PC/This PC and then choose your C drive.
Step 2: Once in the C drive, choose the Users/users folder.
Step 3: Now choose your user in the Users folder .
Step 4: In the next step, you will now see the AppData folder differ in color compared to the other folders. This is because AppData is a hidden folder, we have now made it visible through the previous step Computer settings. We open the AppData folder.
Step 5: Here you now choose the Local folder.
Step 6: Scroll down the Local folder until you find the Temp folder.
Last step: Now look in the folder Temp for the following folder PlwCefCache , this folder contains the cache memory of BRIO. Completely delete this folder, close the BRIO portal and, just to be sure, restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
The steps above should solve the problem with the pop-up not displaying correctly. If not, don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
