Chrome extension - Outgoing calling via Browser or App

Follow the steps below to enable outgoing calling via a browser. Just think of BRIO etc.

Chrome

Step 1: In Google Chrome, go to the Chrome web store to install and add the extension in your web browser.

Step 2: Enter Telsmart in the search field and press enter. 

Step 3: You will find the following Extension. TelSmart - Phone number finder. Click on this to open it. 

Step 4: Click Add to Chrome to start installing the extension. 

Step 5: You will get a pop-up notification asking if you want to add it. Click on Add extension. 

Step 6: After installation, you will notice that in the top right corner under the puzzle icon there will be a notification that the extension was successfully installed and added. 

Configuration

Follow the steps below to configure the Chrome extension.

Step 1: Open the Chrome extension to configure it. To do this, press the puzzle sign in the top right corner of the web browser.

Step 2: Then click on the TelSmart extension to open it. 

Step 3: After clicking open the TelSmart - Phone number finder you will get a pop-up with a login screen. Enter the details of your Flexy Login here. 

Step 4: Once logged in, you will see the screen below. We still have to choose our country. Click Choose Country to select your country. 

Step 5: Click on your country and then click back on your chosen country at the top to remove the dropdown menu. 

Outgoing calling

You can use the Chrome extension to make outgoing calls in 2 ways. You can choose Local Mode or Device mode. The differences are briefly explained below.

Local mode

Step 1: Make sure the dot next to Local Mode is colored.

Step 2: Click on a phone number on any website to make a call. 

Step 3: This will open a pop-up window where you can choose which app you can use to make an outgoing call. 

With Local Mode you still have to choose the app you want to use to make a call.

Device Mode - Flexy

Step 1: Make sure the dot next to Device Mode is colored.

Step 2 : Click on a phone number on any website to make a call. 

Step 3: If you are logged in with Flexy Desktop or Flexy Mobile, you will see the pop-up below appear. This pop-up states pick up to call. 

Step 4: So you will have to accept this call (Answer) . Before it will start the outgoing call via Flexy Desktop. 

Device Mode - Landline telephone

Step 1: Make sure the dot next to Device Mode is colored.

Step 2: Click on a phone number on any website to make a call. 

Step 3: You will see the message Pick up to call appear on the screen of your telephone. 

Step 4: Pick up the phone to start the call.
