You can check the following settings in the finance headset to see if this solves your problems. Below is the procedure and recommended configuration for the finance headsets, when connected to USB.
Required settings
- press and hold the 3 down arrows (under the clock) - you will see "advanced menu" with Headset below
- You press the plus several times, until "desk phone" is visible
- press the check mark - You will see "start configuration"
- press the minus key if Yes is not selected
- press the check mark to confirm Yes - You will now see the option "connect to desk phone"
- press the plus key to select "Off".
- press the back arrow several times until you are out of the menu, and the base says "update completed, restarting"
Recommended settings
- press and hold the 3 down arrows (under the clock) - you will see "advanced menu" with Headset below
- You press the plus until "base station" is visible
- press the check mark
- with the arrow down, you go through this menu item.
make sure the following settings are set as follows:
- call recording: off
- priority call: current call
- telephone for outgoing calls: automatic
- answer call when undocked: off
- simultaneous ringing: off
Back from menu:
- press the back arrow several times until you are out of the menu, and the base says "update completed, restarting"
Wait for the above to be listed.
- press and hold the 3 down arrows (under the clock) - you will see "advanced menu" with Headset below
- You press the plus until "usb phone" is visible
- press the check mark - You will see "start configuration"
- press the minus key if Yes is not selected
make sure the following settings are set as follows:
- "phone line open when headset is not docked" ?: no/off
